Martino Zanibellato

For me, everything starts with the music. My father played the drums, my brother the guitar, and I myself played the piano. Music has always been in our home. That's why I dance, to express what I hear and the feelings the music evokes.

Born in Italy, I started dancing at the age of 10. I had my first success by winning the junior category in Italy, and at the age of 17, I reached my first world championship final and represented Italy.

In 2001, I moved to Denmark and since then have become the Danish champion 10 times, finalists in all major competitions (WDC & WDSF), European champion, and double world champion in professional dancing with my wife Michelle Abildtrup.

Now, I am an international judge, dance coach, and choreographer for some of the best dance couples in the world.
