Katarina ”Myran” Törnblom

My passion is to shape the future of young dancers and provide them with a meaningful leisure activity.

I started my dance career at the age of 7, along with my brother Björn Törnblom, in Solna Sportdansklubb. We trained under the guidance of Olle Bengtsson & Kerstin Katz. Their teaching and dedication inspired me to become a coach, and now we are trying to continue running the club in the same spirit.

I have been teaching dance for over 20 years, and what drives me is witnessing the development of children and young people from beginners to elite dancers, as well as sharing my knowledge and experience with the new generation of dancers. When I teach and judge, I place great importance on fundamental technique and basics.

With 8 Swedish national championship gold medals.  My brother and I have represented Sweden at the European and World Championships for many years.
